BTS systems support the neurologist's work with analysis instrumentation that can provide complete, accurate and integrated data. Thanks to the study with multifactor instrumentation, movement disorders can be analyzed and tackled, the consequences evaluated and the therapeutic program most suitable to the patient can be planned.

A gait analysis can be performed in just 15 minutes.
The electromyographic exam synchronized with the basographic exam allows to evaluate the activity of all pertaining muscles and to extract automatically the gait characteristics:

  • ON/OFF muscular conditions
  • Analysis of the reaction times of each muscle
  • Strike and rise phases
Using a force platform, data can be obtained about the ground reaction forces during gait:
  • Force in the front-back, median-side and vertical direction
  • Moments and powers
  • Centre of pressure
This data can be associated with the kinematic data obtained using electrogoniometers or optoelectronic acquisition systems:
  • Flexion-extension angles
  • Abdo-adduction angles
  • Angles of internal-external rotation
