The BTS movement analysis lab is an instrument of fundamental importance for the activity of rehabilitation centres.
The computer analysis of gait or of any motor gesture can provide:

  • Instantaneous and accurate measurements
  • Quantitative data that can be easily interpreted for monitoring the rehabilitation treatment
  • Objective data that can be compared, and that cannot be detected by a video shoot only
  • Information essential to optimize in time the therapeutic and rehabilitation plan, depending on the patient's progress or lack thereof
Using the BTS lab for movement analysis, the rehabilitator decides, on the basis of the parameters that he/she wishes to evaluate, the type of exam to perform:
  • Kinematic analysis (angles, space-time parameters)
  • Dynamic analysis (forces, moments and powers)
  • Electromyographic analysis
  • Multifactor analysis integrating kinematics, dynamics and electromyography
As these exams are completely non invasive, they can be repeated several times, even at short intervals.
